So, after YouTube new monetization rules, many creators are not happy with YouTube latest update and many of them considers that its good for future. Well, we are not going to argue what is good and what's not. Now let me tell you; What are the latest monetization rules for YouTube??

YouTube Monetization Updated Rules

According to source, after a deep analysis and long meeting with creators and advertisers YouTube latest updates were decided. The rules are very strict and I suppose you will be slightly disappoint with the latest rule of monetization on YouTube.

In a conference  Google’s Paul Muret writes “Of course, size alone is not enough to determine whether a channel is suitable for advertising.”

He said:

We will closely monitor signals like community strikes, spam, and other abuse flags to ensure they comply with our policies. Both new and existing YPP channels will be automatically evaluated under this strict criteria and if we find a channel repeatedly or egregiously violates our community guidelines, we will remove that channel from YPP. As always, if the account has been issued three community guidelines strikes, we will remove that user’s accounts and channels from YouTube.
Sounds that YouTube is very strict with the rules and you should follow the rules if you want to monetize your channel.

The Rules:

Previously you need 10,000 total views on your channel to join YPP but from 16 JAN 2018, you also need 1,000 subscribers with min. 4000 hours of views on your channel.

That's all the new YouTube updates. So, if you want to earn money on YouTube you have to follow these update rules of YouTube for monetization.
